The culinary highlight of our trip to Puglia. Authentic Italian restaurant. Liguine pesto with plenty parmesan was lovely. Mixed grill was very tasty. The mix veg was a perfect accompaniment. Chicken milanese freshly made. House rose 6 for a litre;) Tiramasu was moistand rich. Service was attentive. All for 67! Incredible value. I saw them cutting steaks from the slab of beef as i left - looked glorious. Next time. Thank you Fra Diavolo. Puts PortoCesaereo to shame. Not a decent italian restaurant in the whole town.

This little place in the beautiful town of Leverano is truly a discovery.We had dinner outdoors, on a small terrace created on the pavement of the street just before the pedestrian centre. They beautified the place with plants hanging from above.Exquisite food: pieces of horse in sauce, very varied grilled meat, slice of horse and entrecote with a side of mixed vegetables and a plate of french fries.As an appetizer they offered us delicious homemade meatballs.Bulk wine and water.The bill was the further surprise of the evening because the prices are really reasonable.We absolutely recommend it.And we will return to enjoy other delicious dishes

A superb local restaurant- saying this as all the other guest were locals speaking Italian - in the heart of the city center. We did not have reservations but they accommodated us since we arrived just at 20:00 which is the opening time of the place. Food was excellent and so was the ambience and service. Only disadvantage could be people walking by as you are eating- since we sat outside and it is in the public streets - but we knew it. Meat balls, meat platter and the pizza were delicious. Having all these including a bottlre of wine costed just 40 EUR. Servers could not speak English - but that was no problem in communication and food selection.A definite recommendation. Super happy that we could enjoy dinner over here.

I think it is one of the best restaurants in Salento... in the central area of Leverano there is this welcoming location with seating inside and outside and an open grill... the quality of the typical Salento dishes cooked perfectly is absolutely worth highlighting... the staff always balanced and helpful, especially the boy, Stefano, very kind... I will absolutely returnAbove average quality, cheap price…

Nice authentic Italian place, also quite popular with locals. We went around 20:00 for dinner and were lucky to get a table. It started getting busy around 21:00. It has a beautiful terrace for outdoor seating, it might still feel a bit warm in summer.Coming to food, it was fantastic and good value for money. We tried meatballs, mix grilled meat and a pizza- it was absolutely delicious. We also had a bottle of Vecchia Torre wine, and we paid around 40 for 2 people.Service was nice and friendly.Overall extremely satisfied. Give it a try if you are around.
